Yea. It's true. I'm too much of an ape. Rattle my cage and I'll start screaming and running around like a panicked chimp every single time and then you can come in to steal my bananas to sell them back to me at double the price I paid for them last time.
This is why i want a bot to trade for me, something that puts no emotions into entering and exiting trades, so it can operate efficiently and not get hung up on selling too early and seeing 5x profit pass by, which then influences me the next time I see a breakout to hold instead and then eat a fucking reversal.
Just don't be greedy and act like a bot and you'll easily make money but if you can't then don't touch it as a means to make money because it is only a matter of time until you get into a bad trade that wipes you out and puts you on tilt..
Bot wont get greedy, bot won't get angry, bot won't be afraid. Bot will do a good job. My mafiabot was just the first step to creating my ultimate creation.
If you code the bot to make trades too often youāll end up in a similar pattern only obfuscated for your emotional coping which doesnāt fix the problem
I think just doing a combination of
- sentiment analysis
- copying trades from representatives
- handling fluctuations appropriate to the stocks value relative to P/E, need within the economy
Would be plenty but I donāt think you have that specifically in mind. I just think focusing on eliminating the amount of gambling your bot has to do overall would be the only way to go about it without constructing a footgun
