I might come off like a dick for saying this, but I think it's very naive for a woman to accept large gifts and favors from a guy she barely knows without there being some level of expectation on the guy's part to get something in return. I think it's also disingenuous though for guys to put women in that scenario, knowing full well the intentions they have, but trying to masquerade their intentions and expectations with manipulation and a nice guy act, and getting pissed off when they don't get what they intended or expected. Some guys are nice and some guys are nice guys. Not throwing shade on anyone, it just seems a lot of guys think this way and it seems to be occurring a lot. Some women either try to exploit it understanding the situation and try to exploit the guy they expect to be exploiting them, or are genuinely naive as to the predatory nature of how some guys operate until they've experienced it themselves, and they could be putting themselves in a potentially dangerous situation without even realizing it. Sometimes people suck.
