not against this at all

yeah so it was dicks hamburgers and there was a 400lbs dude with a XXXL DC jersey on with about $25 of food laid out in front of him, i approached and asked if i could meet the players cus i thought he was a manager. he says “no im the coach” in a kinda weird standoffish way, so i was just like uh k.

turns out that was loomdun. the inventor of treant protector looks a fair bit like his favourite hero irl

God it's weird to remember this was one of the first places on Twitch I would hang out.

SingSing and FluffiestBunny in 2012.

IDK, that [AlyssuhDawn] blog post seems like bullshit. I mean, there is sexual harassment and there is harassment. The problem I really have is blurring the lines between sexual assault and workplace harassment.

People like alyssuh are taking this opportunity to basically further their own careers by farming karma like "Oh look at me, I also have a story to tell! Someone was mean to me!" I'm on the good side!

Like, men also experience name calling and harassment from coworkers and superiors, so I don't get why she feels the need to clog up the space with this stupid fucking story. Oh wait, I do, because she's just a fucking opportunist.

I view that post to be about equal to someone posting a blog post about how a manager of a dota team cut them off in the parking lot and never apologized in terms of how much gravity and weight it should carry.

Yea, such and such grabbed my friend's ass and that's where I drew the line LOL oh shut up.

But real talk, having spent large amounts of time trying to play competitive dota when I was in college (and it was still wc3 dota), I can imagine how the attitude doesn't change much if you stay in that bubble, like the whole frat house gaming all day, never talk to girls, never work a real job at a real company and get some type of sensitivity training on how to not be a fucking moron around your coworkers.

It all starts when you try to mix your personal life with work, and treat the workplace like it's your second home and everyone on the job is your friend. It's not the case, almost all people are all there for one reason, to get paid, and they're not being nice or well-mannered because they like you and want to be friends, it's because nobody wants to get fired, and people are more productive when the work environment isn't some hostile place full of drama like some stupid fuckin soap opera as we're seeing unfold right now.

Speculating on the grant rape story without having been there (1st hand account) is stupidity, which is why throughout this entire thread I've been trying to point out that random fucking people should not use it in their basis for shitting on Grant. Instead, they should use the ample other documented, factual occasions where grant acted like a piece of shit

its really easy to slip lies in with a bunch of truth. can you be more specific about the drugs part? which drugs is it implied she took? she doesnt sound like the type to b K-Holing at a dota meetup. molly/E would not make her pass out, nor would coke. can you elaborate?

@Nyte Yea, what type of drugs are you referring to? Like, pot or something heavier?

If she took something like an anxiety medication like xanax, it's totally possible that the xanax combined with alcohol could cause her to black out.

I also think the story of grant slipping a drug into her drink is kind of far fetched, and if you guys really think about it, besides this story which is just hearsay at this point, grant isn't really being accused of anything serious besides being a generally annoying drunk piece of shit by grabbing girls wrists and making fun of people on the job.

Going from 'grant is an asshole, to grant drugged and raped a girl at TI' is a huge fucking leap, so let's just put down the pitchforks and see the proof before we fucking crucify a potentially innocent man because a bunch of thots are coming out of the shadows to farm their 15 min of fame

sad truth is there's a high chance of her case not going through in court, unless grant were to admit it outright

even in the case where her story is factual

Honestly, the more I hear details about what happened from the people who were actually there, the more I feel like both of them were piss fucking drunk, and maybe you could say it was rape.

I know it sounds terrible, but like, when two people are both equally black out drunk and have sex, I don't think it's fair to accuse one person of being a rapist and the other as a victim based on their gender alone. It just seems fucking dumb but blah blah blah, like back when I was younger, the term rape meant that some guy forced a girl into having sex she didn't want, but like today it also includes a girl woke up next to some dude she regrets fucking while hammered, and apparently the real salt on the wounds is when the guy admits he also regrets fucking her too. LOL.

"Date rape drugs" getting slipped into a drink is so rare it's practically an urban legend.

it happens, just doesn’t make so much sense in this case

Nyte would never protect grant dude

Lol there's no chance of a charge much less a conviction. Try prosecuting a sexual assault where there's no physical evidence and the complaint says she "doesn't even have the faintest glimmer of what happened between the cocktail bar and waking up the next day."
