I think Chomsky is a really smart guy - there are some points I disagree with him but his analysis on a LOT of stuff is very spot on. I think he’s better regarding domestic things compared to foreign though

Some podcasts make some really good content but I think there’s a hesitation to take on any story that gets “too big”
For example, anyone could have exposed hollywood for what it was years ago. It was pretty well known and goes deeper than just the surface-level MeToo stuff that came out. But nobody wants to tell those stories any more
mainstream media has just become a revolving door for clickbait, lobbyists, and fear-mongering for ratings. local media has just become bought out by big conglomerates and mostly shuttered, there are a few decent local newspapers left but the rest have been turned into pennysaver rags.

Now I think he fled the country in advance of being exposed but there was never a big thing about it. If you google for it you’ll see it reported but I think it’s still not household knowledge (as it should be - don’t send your young kids to hollywood to be movie stars, they’ll be raped)
