canada doesn't have 401ks. we have a RRSP but yes i max mine out and i also did the first time-home owners program with it where i borrowed money from it without getting taxed for my down payment.

i think so. irrc u have 15 years to pay back and payments start like 2 fiscals after the purchase or something . the payments are just flat.
do you get to choose how much and can you lump sum pay it back or is there a cap the same way you can pay only 10% extra of your mortgage a year and whatnot
