The reality of race and racism at its simplest is this:

i see white skin
you are white
This is the mental arithmetic behind the vast majority of racism today and pinpointing the one odd story where it wasn’t true is reducing the conversation to nonsense via complexity

Actually in this situation it could be either, depending on the situation. A lot of people are persistent about making judaism part of their identity and might have pictures in israel or some shit. But I think the vast majority of people who are jewish in some capacity in the US you are not even thinking of as jews on a daily basis
you’re overgeneralizing; some people are more antisemitic and thus sensitive to jewness and Jew features than others
they are essentially white to people who aren’t sensitive about jewness, yes, but it’d be dishonest to pretend such people don’t exist

But the counter-point I am thinking of to that are the like 70% of jews (hereditary or historically jewish) that you just aren’t observing in life because they have none of that obvious stuff (or very little of it)
Plus the counterpoint of, like, italians. With very jewish curls and noses but italian names.
