This chain store is kinda mid but foreigners like it because we can be picky and order things the way we want it.
This chain exists in southern california too and it's exactly the same.

It was like a casual to-go sushi place/grocery, god I miss it.
10 min walk from my house. So for someone who loved sushi and didnt drive, it was heaven.
They also had the best rice. The best sauces. The best everything. Just one of those places where everything is in japanese on the labels, you just try random shit. I loved trying the random drinks. Man I miss it. Japanese Melon Soda goes hard as fuck.

Holy shit you weren’t kidding. Curry roux like this is like 3 dollars a box in Japan and the US. No curry roux market in Canada is crazy this shit is a staple of bachelor cooking.
