Hardcore mewing.
But you don't agree that literature isn't garbage.
I don't believe in asperger's. I don't believe in "innate" weaknesses/strengths. We are the sum of our experiences. Some things we are "good" at because we have done them before - they are comfortable. In order to become a spiritual person you must stimulate your spiritual side and the first roadblock to doing so is to dispel the ego, that cries out: No. This is not me. I cannot do this.
In fact it is just a protection from being bad at something, from having to face the realities of the self, our weak and ill-formed bodies/minds - it is only through painful confrontation with our worst selves that we can become something better.
scottlocklins blog is A+
I think literature is fine. I enjoyed some of the books i had to read in whatever that class was. I just wont read on my own
Agreed.
This passive disinterest you feign was planted in you, and is not your own. Just so you know. It's just a futuristic way of bootlicking.
Yeah, it's just slave morality.
I agree. Socialism is the answer
You guys are weird.
Googling insta-cart
You will pay 23 dollars for that slice of bread
You are. I'm not.
What you fail to understand is that you can want to be "free spirited" or whatever the fuck, but you are still bound by fundamental restraints in which you are absolutely not free.
For example, benny being unable to afford his apartment. Being unable to care for himself. Jones living in his dads basement, being unable to keep a job.
You desire to be free because you are not, and you have no power or ability to self actualize. Your living situations preceeded your philosophical ideals as a way to justify your suffering.
Unable to afford my apartment? But I can afford my apartment. What in the heavens do you mean.
Also you are sorely mistaken and misled if all you took from my postings were a willingless to be free. Freedom is an overrated concept, and the easiest way to such is through suicide.
I agree that if benny is using his philosophy to justify doing drugs then it is Wrong.
You can't self actualize not stuffing your face with corn syrup you fatass slob.
You live in a society where you have to do things in a certain way. You need to have a job so you can live. Eat, have fun, and so on. This is an unignoreable aspect of life in the 21st century, and the ability for you to live as poem man is not a reality in this world for 99.99% of people. The world is industrial and has fundamentally changed. The stories you read are of idyllic situations that never existed in the first place, and were written in an entirely different time period.
None of what I have postulated upon here has a correlation to the hedonism implicated with drug-use.
