You're running on English and if you're believing in some weak-to-medium strong element of Sapir Whorf, I don't see how you don't see that this is colonization.

The inner monologue is languageless, your reading of the inner monologue might be in English, but it is originally written in a subconscious language.
nah -- there's the lizard brain and the frontal lobe -- system 1 and system 2. it's definitely programmed in a certain language -- sort of like those guys that have strokes and then can speak Chinese overnight.
When you're talking to someone where do the sentences come from? They're definitely not an internal monologue, you don't even know what word you're going to say next until you actually say it.
Think about the chimp they raised within a family with another baby -- the baby adopted the chimp characteristics -- the chimp language. It's sort of like that.

You can choose to model subconscious thoughts in that manner if you want, sure. It's probably even more complex than that though.
Past experience has shown that the laws of the universe are actually really simple. So it's actually probably more simple than complex.
