I kinda like watching wabbles the game until the grab happens is really fun. It’s a bit like an antibiotic climactic rest I guess, but the rest of ic is fun to watch unlike puff that’s only fun to watch the rest

Yoshi is the same way I think but I never hear complaints about the dino
i think tho icies are just good enough to like actually fuck people up while still obscure enough to make learning the matchup a chore.

I also have a running theory that every person who plays one of these incredibly annoying characters (ICs, Luigi, Yoshi) are the nicest people and that it creates a balance between hating them for playing a shit fuck and loving them for being decent human beings. It’s the yin and yang of melee.

See: Kage somehow being the most “normal” Ganon player.
My favorite Kage story is that for some reason there was a secret smash girl porn facebook page where all these girl smashers would post their nudes. It was pretty much just girl smashers, top players, and TOs (which was why I got invited somehow) and Kage would comment on every picture in the third person and be like “Ah yes, I would like you to see my warrior right now” or “The warrior greatly approves of this post”. Eventually the page got shut down when people started screen capping the photos and sharing them, but I’ll never forget Kage being the most hilarious weirdo.

My point with the Ganon thing is that people think of him as a “cool” character, but his playerbase is filled with scumbags.

Do you meditate at all? Meditation has been one of the big tipping points for me performing well at events v. underperforming, especially if it’s a big bracket, if you start hitting BO5s, or if for some god awful reason theres round robin.
