Monkey pox

Trying to define baby killing in other terms is how we got to the point we are now with state sanctioned genocide buildings industrializing the slaying of babies as quickly as possible and for as low cost as possible

it’s one of the most complex and nuanced topics in american politics

not to you though :brainlet:

It’s only complex if you take the question “is killing babies wrong?” And say “only sometimes”

Thought experiment: If there was a (Naturally occurring) race of genetically predisposed Gay Trans Humans - would it be Ok to abort their babies?

Well genetically predisposed is not a guarantee so no, only when they are adults and have chosen to be trans would I be open to genocide for them, not as babies

#2: Genetically Predisposed Murderers (90% chance to commit murder) - Do you wait until they have killed someone to punish them?

Yes, otherwise you end up like that movie where they were arresting people for crimes they haven’t committed yet

What is that called

Minority report

Minority Report

Well, they still do arrest people for attempted murder. At what point is that line drawn?

What if it was a 100% chance to commit murder?

If 100% is enough and 90% is too low - who gets to decide the number inbetween?

Attempted murder is not the thought of murdering someone it is taking action to murder someone usually resulting (maybe always, I would need to look up the law) in an injury that could have easily killed a person, also with intent to cause physical injury in the first place

I shouldn't have brought that up - my bad.

Then when they try to commit murder they will be arrested, not to say they shouldn’t be watched closely by police and forced to live amongst themselves along with being discriminated with as everyone understands they are genetically predisposed to be dangerous criminals, just that it is wrong to kill them as babies

What's the point of all this overhead to society? Just exterminate them completely, no? It's for the greater good.
If you kill all fertile males of this hypothetical species, are you not committing abortion by proxy?

Abortion by proxy still different than baby killing, and you are also speaking in hypotheticals, reality is much different

The human spirit is defined by our consciousness - set apart from animals by our ability to hypothesize theories and come to logical conclusions that wouldn't be feasible to conclude physically.

It seems like a loophole to me, being allowed to castrate all males but banning abortion. If by some fluke - someone slipped through a pregnancy, and it happened to be a male; can we castrate them in the womb? Testicular abortion.
