I enjoy when people are different, have different views and things to say. Yeah sometimes they're entertaining because they're different. But it's also the case that sometimes they're not wrong.
It certainly creates good discussion on the NAMafia dot com General Discussion Boards and I wish people were more polite about it. If anything is cringe, it's being needlessly rude to other people on the internet.

You're right, in some regard I am projecting my own sense of the more general movement to reject traditional family values onto Hubert Doobert's statement.
Logical fallacy. There's a clear distinction between people that are being emotionally abused and manipulated for laughs, and others who are skilled comedians in nature and are performing an act.
I am not trying to bully or be rude, only genuinely trying to help someone who's been roped on for years by this community under false pretenses, when they are not cognitively capable of comprehending the situation independently.
It's a distinction you make so that you can convince yourself you still have agency and are somehow different from plasma, when in fact you are both the same. Your ironic comedic act is just as much an act of self-immolation for the entertainment of the general audience as his posting is.

In fact, I rarely post "ironically" at all - irony is a very low form of comedy that I usually avoid. It's more of an honorable stand up act telling honest jokes.
