slowdive turned me on to this movie, I’d say it’s even more disturbing than Come and See although they’re both brilliant
it’s also really hard to find so I recommend watching while it’s up as it routinely gets deleted by youtube when posted in full
yeah he’s (Peter Sellers) the OG Pink Panther as well and hilarious in that role
In Dr Strangelove apparently he was supposed to play one of the characters in the plane as well but they ended up casting Slim Pickens instead
also for one of the characters, I can’t remember which, Kubrick told the actor to “intentionally act as ridiculous as possible” to warm up, but he ended up using all of those takes in the final cut and the actor was pissed lol

Paths of glory is a good war/politics movie. Lucky is the same movie as cool hand Luke done different if you liked it
