I’d really like to see extremely good and tryhard adaptations of Dostoevsky made into movies, I think there is so much potential

watching Dancer in the Dark rn, I remember broodstar being a big Lars Von Trier fanboy so I’ll see if I like it
I hear you but Villeneuve has proven himself to be a very capable director and Timothy Chalamet is an extremely talented rising star
also Hans Zimmer is doing the score
I have really high hopes
Didn’t really like Dancer in the Dark, I felt like I was watching a student film. I get why some people are high on it, Bjork plays a very unique character and the ending is quite sad but it just didn’t really work for me.
