is this the whole thing
I think the playlist has all of them, I'm only a few episodes in
Saw Harold and Maude for Valentine's. Way better than I was expecting. One of my favorite movies now. Big recommendation to everyone
finally watched dune, it was good 7/10
not as good as some of Vilenueve’s other work though
i strongly recommend incendies
7 is probably too high
it just felt very slow and empty and kinda pretentious
like the revenant but sci fi
yeah but revenant was a lot more gripping atleast
both were predictable but the ride was a lot more visceral in rev
for sure
You were supposed to watch it in theaters. The audio is incredible in theaters
i just didnt feel attached to the characters in either movie
yeah the visuals are great too
I love the shots of the army all lined up in the background looking super tiny with GIANT troop cariere and harvesters in the fore ground showing an amazing visual scale
same with the sand worm scenes
I did and I think 8 is maybe a lil generous
watching Euphoria atm, as far as guilty pleasures go it’s quite good. it’s kinda like a bollywood or telemundo level of ridiculous drama but if you can get past that it has quite a bit going for it. the music is excellent and the cinematography is incredible. seriously the cinematography is amazing as fuck and its a teen drama show. lmao
the pacing is on point and does a good job of keeping you engaged, always jumping between characters but not in a way that feels disorienting. storytelling is good, the background monologues work well.
it also uses music in a way that adds pressure or tension somehow, even though it’s mostly long tracks with no words, carrying on through many scenes. it just works. reminds me of Magnolia in that way
just watched ‘Watchmen’ for the first time in 10 years, what a brilliant film. Gorgeous cinematography, incredible soundtrack, intelligent and stylish dialogue.
Which version?
One of my exes used to give me so much shit for that time I made her sit down and watch the directors cut
oh shit i’m not sure, it had a 2:42 run time
