obviously the Russians
You should help they could use your intelligence and physique
if it's a true peer to peer war yes. but you hope to have advantages in some area(even if localized) and can leverage them to create an opening and then keep your opponent off balance and constantly reacting, violence of action or maneuver warfare style. see desert storm or iraqi freedom(lol) for good examples
this is what I have read
Ukraine is going to lose.
allied casualties for normandy were about 220,000 germany + friends was at 200,000 + 200,000 more german pow's. obviously attacking initially will incur losses but if you can find success and stagger your opponent you can clean them up
if you're talking about storming the beaches then yea that's usually ugly except most of the beaches were pulverized by bombers and ships, only omaha was particularly bad
sadly for vatniks around the world russia's supply and control of it's assets is doodoo so we get this
Explain why russia started this war to me like im 5
the Pentagon has no fucking clue what the Ukrainians are doing but the war will continue because A) the Ukrainian elite are being made extremely wealthy B) some moron within the DoD has some grand plan about "neutralizing Russia before war with China" C) the Ukrainian war has been impugned as a morally righteous cause and the US can't handle "not being able to defend democracy" or some shit.
People get rich from every circumstance
Power dispute over who controls Russia's neighbor.
Id prefer the info from someone who doesnt get their information from infowars..
Osiris reads the biggest fake news shit of all time: WWII propaganda.
There is nothing more ahistorical than WWII.
When you read 1984 but dont have a firm grasp on reality
some russians long for the glory days of the empire or the ussr and want to recover lost ground. ukraine was always a target and their government was infiltrated by russian assets prior to 2014 and the shitshow (it's easy to infiltrate a corrupt government especially ones you had former ties with). black sea ports and crimea are no joke to possible power projection. not sure what russian state media is spewing out jones can probably help you out there
What would make russia withdraw
jones would say it's nato expansion as if russian expansion disregarding former treaties is something to handwave away
The removal of Zelensky and the installment of a Russian puppet state.
