Your side of the story: I think the matter of that particular round is irrelevant now. So I would rather talk about my history. Previously my first notes on the server were for not being nice in ahelps, to which I got in trouble for. Past that, I had improved definitely, slowly over time, but in the end I was banned for ultimately something else.
Why you think you should be unbanned: Well. For that exact round, the person to whom I was banbaiting I talked to on discord, and they were confused when I told them that I apparently was. They then said that the ban shouldn't have happened for something like that, especially when they didn't see anything wrong at all. This doesn't matter so much now. The important thing is I've learned how to conduct myself in ahelps, giving or receiving, and am a different person now in general.
Anything else we should know: If I remember correctly my notes were either regarding the way I acted towards staff, or that I wasn't roleplaying at the correct standard of MRP. I still wonder why it is that you can be banned from MRP tg for being LRP too much but not be able to play LRP anymore?

Ban reason: rule 8 - claimed to engage in necrophilia with the corpse of the mime who they had killed with a traitor. Saying things like "the mime and i were having... intimate times" and "I'm just trying to have a little fun in here. You were already warned about rule 8 violations less than a week before.

Your side of the story: so i was a traitor with carp style, and i got caught by security trying to hide the mimes corpse in a dorm room. Then 3 officers and a bystander showed up and i immediately panicked and started implying that i was doing necrophilia in the room, in the hopes that it would somehow get them not to search me or the room, a desperate defense. Needless to say this didn't work, and I was swiftly executed with the station elevator. I started talking with two separate admins about it, and was unsure when if at all I should offer my feelings, as the admins were likely busy, and I was unsure how seriously they were looking upon my offense.
Why you think you should be unbanned: When i was banned I did not fully understand rule 8, i figured that what I did would not be a problem. Having read the rules again, I can see that this was obviously stupid and I totally understand banning me for it, but I have learned my lesson, and it will never happen again.
Anything else we should know: I really love playing here, its the best ss13 server there is, thanks for your continued patience.

Ban reason: I created to bots using circuits, that I designated as bitch bot and pimp bot. The point of it was trying to get the attention of people to give money to the money bot, which currently does not do anything apart form taking and giving the same amount of money. Therefore I tried to make a trick to get people to use the money bot and transfer money to it.
Of course the non money bot was catching attention by saying things and react accordingly to money transfer. This was designed as a combination of events in order to try a multi-level programmation of circuit and interaction between 2 bots.
Of course at some point someone had the idea to place a bounce radio on the bot to spam the common channel, but it was not me and without it I suppose my bot would have gone unnoticed...
In my view it was not ERP in the sense that bots are not in any manner placing themselves in a possibility to participate, even remotely, to ERP, despite the story they say. I was just trying to make a trick to get people to use the money bot as previous rounds proved this bot is even less interesting to people than public nanite chamber. I was just trying to make use of a circuit shell that does not have any for now, using story background as a means in a relatable manner.
Perma ban seems to me too much as a consequence. I understand that I made a law change (in previous round) to AI once to try upload (I did not know how to use it and I wanted to use a non harmful stupid law), but I reocgnise I could have done better then.
The bot was not designed to do ERP in my opinion as stated above and was just a way to make sense of a money bot shell. I would accept a short ban, but a perma ban is definitely too much considering the background of my exercise. Again, I caused no harm and assimilating machines as ERP is just going too far in my opinion. I did not do that in a gratuitous manner, there was an actual and objective reason, it was not intended to offend but to get a bot filled with cash.

I got banned from goon station yesterday because I said nigg a and got warned by an admin for it and I said “ok I won’t say it anymore janny” so he perma banned me

Yeah I agree some people misuse the term. But when you've been awake for like 68 out of the last 70 hours and every bone in your body hurts and your eyes burn and your vision is blurry, all you want to do is sleep. You run the risk of becoming slightly delirious. Being awake turns into a complete nightmare, and the only way to wake up from the nightmare is to sleep. But you can't.
