that too but also for teams to shop around for sponsors having that NA lineup which will generate an NA fanbase the sponsors prefer that NA fanbase cause that demographic will buy stuff but this is also stuff i heard pre rona and bidenomics so probably outdated

mmm yes and no in the end its all teh same endemic sponsors at that level which is global. Razor, ALienware, Monster, etc.
The best way it looks to work in NA is whats happenign in dota with nouns and shopify being sponsors that directly promote them selves thats the only time it makes sense economically. Eitehr then that hire mexicans or romanians fuck it

all the former "t1" na csgo players just went to streaming because they make more money

renegades used to have their gaming house in my area when jonas jerebko bought the team, their contracts probably weren't massive though and they all lived in one house afaik
that's the killer for a lot of na talent. high profile players who have an ounce of personality can make a lot easier money just streaming instead of practicing 24/7 and bombing out of majors constantly

i think its kinda popped in na a lot of orgs died recently went insolvent
seeing it pop for game companies to a lot of them are or will be trimming all the people they brought in
theres just no way you can convince me that dudes getting paid 10k a month each to play csgo on top of the 10k a month in rent it costs to lease out a house in OC or whatever is worth it
thats 60k right there a month not including salaries for other ancillary employees like marketing teams, design teams, people to work with sponsors etc
