that's what im saying they were being told it was a scam so they didn't prepare with the hero pool dota 2 had at the time so they were just like fuck it we ball carry doom every game

yes why do you think back in like 2012 ESL was making dota events but they were calling them EMS instead of ESL?
damn even more reasons to hate riot and tencent, didn't think this was possible
and once riot basically cucked all the tournament partners they were convincing they would support with their own internal league but actually threw them aside esl changed dota tourneys back to being esl hmmguh

Man one time I was playing a lot of valorant and fucking chamber had just released so he was broken as shit and I kept driving by riots offices in LA and every time I drove by I wanted to go in there and ask why they keep making shitty characters that make the game worse

i mean you should have seen that coming if you looked at league every new champion they give them 4 dashes insane burst damage good cc etc
I didn’t play league enough to pay attention to any new champs or anything, I played valorant when it first released and when they announced killjoy and basically set the tone that they’re just going to release characters that are not fun to play against in the future I stopped playing for like a year and a half

It still baffles me that they copied a game which has basically been the same game for 20+ years and decided they would push updates like it’s a moba and make balance changes around an evolving meta and add a bunch of gay ass characters
