I agree with you on a lot of things you’re saying.
When I say that people do things they might later realize are bad, I mean that there are a lot of people who were raised in a culture not unlike the one kavanaugh is describing in highschool, where certain occurances, that might be altogether questionable or immoral, are not viewed as such because they are considered the way things are, and there’s not a lot of thought beyond that … it IS, in fact, a cultural problem. And coming to admit, later, that your fucking golden years were all a sham is an incredibly difficult thing.
Do you think that jdance and some others see women as shitty or “ironically” just hate women because a lack of affection? It is also a cultural issue. Blaming women is just about the easiest/most common thing to resort to in regards to sex and sexuality. Not to mention what sex represents(virtually everything in terms of worth, these days, but sex is a pretty pervasive part of human society [light sarcasm] It’s a tough fucking subject, no pun intended)
I want you to unironically watch blade runner (the original) and tell me what you think of the love scene. Tell me if it’s acceptable or romantic. Tell me how you explain that to young people. And I’m not memeing or being sardonic; I’m actually asking your opinion on the scene.
Most people don’t want to talk to you(specifically asoul) about their assaults or rape experiences. I’ve yet to hear the story of one irl person that ended with Justice (people open up to me, I’m a great listener).
I don’t particularly feel like picking apart what I meant in my post because I was rambling in a way that wasn’t going to be easily understood - I see that, and that’s fine.
nvm I didnt see the newer posts hehe!
me neither, i haven’t met 1 sexual assault victim who’s gotten justice. missouri is a sad place
I think it’s strange to call it a survivor when rape is not what I would call a murderous action
I cant remember which Revenge of the Nerds movie it was, but there was one where a nerd tricked a girl into fucking him (aka raped her) and the movie celebrated it like the nerd achieved his great victory of the movie.
changed
How do you trick a girl into fucking you without some of it being on the girl? How young are we talking when we say girl? Like what sort of trick did he play?
I’m dying if you fuck me then I will be cured?
He wore a mask and told her he was her boyfriend.
That’s not rape
I mean you don’t have to. It’s something I’ve noticed as common when speaking of rape and I just find it really odd.
I personally think it’s misrepresentative but maybe that earns me a rape apologist hashtag.
Yes
LMAO that’s right he was disguised because they were wearing masks for some reason right? I saw that one.
Lmfao that’s really awful.
No. It’s not just a lack of affection. It’s a mix of cultural flavor to blame someone else for what you’re “entitled” to, as well as women being constantly objectified.
you can almost copy-paste the plot for half of the 1980s teenage “coming of age” movie
You really don’t know me at all.
You fill the forum with yourself every day around the clock. We know you.
Rape by deception is a thing
