NAMafia Investment Thread

i bring up the AMD $2 sometimes because its funny

yeah I know, I didnt actually expect her to do it

its just a what if that this thread reminded me of

it was just like

I KNEW as soon as it hit 10k it would skyrocket

I fucking KNEW it, everybody did

it was just becoming more popular and hitting 10k would push it into the normiesphere and bring in normie money, which is exactly what happened

there were literally hundreds of articles/news reports the moment it hit 10k

No, interest rates dropped to 0%, creating cheap money and asset prices rose sharply as a result

are you referring to american interest rates?

what are your educational resources of choice jdance

American interest rates run the world

id like to see any other asset with as much market cap that literally doubled in price in a few months at this time

Look at pretty much any speculative asset or stock and you'll see most of them did. The biggest difference with crypto is that anyone can buy them from anywhere, whereas there are regulations and laws that can effect the purchase and holdings of equities

in this case I disagree, I think a lot of the money in bitcoin back then was a way to launder money and for countries to avoid sanctions

i’d bet North Korea and Iran bought a lot

Quite literally the only thing that matters is the amount of debt relative to cash. When debt is high, crypto prices will be high.

Bitcoin is pretty much the worst possible way to launder money

Start here

idk I don’t claim to know much about this kinda thing

I’d still bet Iran/NK/Russian billionaires own a fuck ton of it

It has been shown that north Korea is one of the biggest abusers of crypto scams though

exchange NK money for chinese money, use chinese money to buy crypto, sell crypto for american money

seems like a pretty straight forward way for them to acquire american currency which they can then use to purchase things they can’t with their regular money

China has banned bitcoin and unbanned it multiple times. They have always banned near the top, and unbanned near the bottom. My conspiracy is that they are actually ran incredibly competently and ban it when risk is high, to prevent their citizens from losing much money
