i didn't realize you could watch your individual ships in the fotilla attack that's pretty cool
not just that but you can set how they act in battle IE if you have big capital ship you can outfit your mid tier boys with short range weapons and tell them to hold and intercept incoming ships.
or you can make really big ships and kit them out with nothing but short range torpedos and tell them to leeroy jenkins into the middle of everything. if you were so inclined
you can also have sex with aliens, I should mention that part
would be a shame if true
mass effect may have failed us but we still have war crime inducing paradox games to hunt for alien hotties
yeah. you can also enslave them and literally work them to death. or use them as a food source. or simply purge them as fast as possible and get rewarded based on your genocide efficiency if you're a fanatic purifier. i love paradox games
it's kind of weird but understandable you can openly push buttons to extinct/enslave races whereas hoi4 skirts around even the concept of POW's because of how politically charged the response would be for something so recent in our past
you can also steal their land and just kinda occupy it and forcefully resettle them and basically roleplay as the Israelis
it's fine, the stuff is not what makes me enjoy these games. it's the complex economy/political management systems. and I kinda agree with their approach to WW2.
im just saying there's a reason food isn't a manageable resource in that game lol. don't want players being encouraged to reenact barbarossa and tell them they killed 3 million soviet pow's of starvation in the first year
Unit 731 focus: you research tech faster for the rest of the game. all Chinese populations gain the "human experimentation debuff".
Flavour text: "The Chinese have much to offer us...... much indeed"
yeah idk
future settings can be liberating in that sense. you should make a campaign thread i might have to check that game out when it goes on sale. im somewhat due for a new paradox title soon
im writing tons of lore for this playthrough like a total nerd. i can organize it and dump it when i'm done if you really are interested
real statistic btw. wonder how many fathers of possible arteezy's perished gnawing on boiled leather
boot leather aspic, to be specific. imagine
this is aspic, for those who have had the mercy of not knowing this creation existed thus far
this is what a typical lategame battle might look like (although I'm playing on regular difficulty and really strong)
I love this game, couldn't recommend it more. IMO it's way better than hoi4
you need like 3-4 of the DLCs though, but many are skippable
then you can do stuff like this and see what that ship getting roasted sees. it's really cool if you're a huge nerd like me
my Titan appears to be annihilating one of their few battleships
they ded. press F to pay respec
this is what happens when you send your juggernaut too far ahead of your main fleet and the AI makes a bold push towards it and catches it 71 days away from your reinforncements. RIP
