No-nonsense Day 3 & Postgame (Official)

Night 1/Day 2 analysis.

In Night 1 (scum chat will not be shared) differences in skill level between the mafia team players became apparent. Ironstove was reading kkat doc right off the bat and wanted to NK him. Nyte enters and leads them onto dan for some reason (probably a personal vendetta?) and they roleblock someone else.

KKat, to his credit, asks if he can protect himself, but ends up protecting jdance.

Day 2 - unfortunately, you all play too passive and ironstove again takes over the thread. He's a very good scum player - he puts the sus on matty (also saying "you shouldn't have lynched your cop - a train he somehow started but wasn't on when it left the station") and most of the thread buys it. This debilitates the one remaining capable town player in the thread. Almost everybody is reading the game wrong at this point.

NMA, to his credit, correctly reads Nyte. But he's too attached to his personality vendettas (keeps getting distracted by Hype) and nobody takes him seriously.

TeamSpeak Alliance (Jones and NMA on one account so it's fine) completely paralyzed & outplayed by Brendan. Can't believe this keeps happening.

Matty dies day 2 after being absolutely pwned by the mafia. Town in shambles.

I think the one takeaway from this day could be that town could take a little more time with the lynches. From here the days get very fast and town is floundering. I think in general you guys go along too easily with a scum case when lost ("follow the leader") rather than going back and rereading the thread. Maybe rereading day 1 you would've picked up on some stuff, idk.

Whether matty should claim (doc) to live here is pretty questionable. I think it would've just revealed the real doc and resulted in matty's death anyway so I think dying was the right choice - Matty's play was fine, he did his best.

Night 2/Day 3 - Less to discuss here, at this point the game is an autopilot win unless town can pull out a sudden turnaround. Scum is hunting for doc with the div kill. Brendan thinks NMA is the doctor but Nyte (the roleblocker) overrules him and blocks jdance. Krazy protects jdance.

Scum realizes they can rush hammer with 1 town vote. Hype obliges and puts the vote on (on the town doctor) but Nyte is not around to hammer.

Ironstove play is pretty next level. I think KKat needs to do this at the start of this day. It's lylo, people need all the info. Maybe it would create a showdown (scum can cc and maybe kkat dies) but with ironstove claiming first it really puts kkat in a bad position.

This is right btw. If LBJ just claimed before dying the game would have gone completely differently - KKat could protect him every night, town would have 1 known town player, a chance at a cop check if he doesn't get RB'd, and a chance to lynch a non-town or narrow town's POE day 1. Probably the worst play of the game by LBJ right there - basically griefing in order to be like "haha you guys are dumb for lynching me" (meanwhile it's scum driving his lynch).

NMA paralyzed. Every single person stove pushes reads him as town for it lmao

In the end, nma dies and game ends without town ever coming close to properly reading the game and without KKat ever claiming doctor.

Postgame pretty boring you guys seem to just want to argue about nma and jones sharing one account. I have news for you. It's actually better this way (it's called a hydra or two-headed dragon) because if they talk about the game or collaborate in any way they now have only one account to do so from.

I think this game was pretty fair, rules were followed, and there's not a lot to complain about other than horrible town play.

So, to conclude, let's give out the awards:

Town Least Valuable Player

Goes to @LuckyArtist for failing to claim his role Day 1 and griefing the whole game in order to laugh at how dumb people are for lynching him.

Mafia Least Valuable Player

Goes to @Nyte for generally being carried and being the only scum player to be scumread all game.

Thanks all for playing - hope everyone had fun and I'll look forward to seeing you in the next one.
