OK, this is worth noting, but all we have to do is say ā50% of the town may commute tonightā rather than clearly specifying which roles people will use and the result is that scum have to use 2 or more people if they want to kill even one player

Also, if there is a switch to turn off roles, cant we just turn off the thing that counters commuter (1 random person does it and everyone else commutes) and nobody can get killed
@Huber Iām aware that the setup seems very complex for new players, but I like how it gets everyone thinking and there are tons of strategies both town and scum players can employ. This kind of setup really sets apart good and bad players (in my opinion), and I think most people will enjoy the setup if they give it some thought. However, if people are still not feeling complex/non-vanilla setups, I will gladly host more vanilla-themed games in the future.

I dont care if people like it I just would like the setups to be posted while we sign up. We can avoid games we dont want and also have a day to read about them before it starts.

Thatās the most fun type of game in my opinion as it creates totally unexpected outcomes. Itās going to take me a while to figure out how all the interactions work between roles, though.

It is the #1 move for mafia to start attempting to āsolveā the game (See: Jones on Nadota.com Mafia) when there are loopholes to all their āplansā.

another reason I like the complicated games is that it gives players something to talk about on the first day other than just āyoure scumā āno youre scumā
itās really easy to sort out the players that are genuinely trying to puzzle out the game from the ones that just want to throw sand in our eyes
I only have two games of context with Asoul and in the first game he started to butt heads right out of the gate so if thatās a pattern then heās matching that playstyle so far.
