ah you see if you watched the original video posted the guy said specifically that the western mind only thinks NK is famine. Its not true, you can't have famine for 30 years, that would wipe out the population. NK is taking the profits from giving Russia bodies and shells and reinvesting it into agriculture and other things

While I think south Korea is kind of a cautionary tale I wouldn't look to NK as some sort of model society.
No it just seems like NK and SK are opposite extremes

North Korea has a dog shit birthrate. It is like 1.8 and given that people naturally die there more and they have closed borders, there is no population growth that will outpace South Korea.
North Korea is state capitalism. Workers do not own the means there at all. Socialist in name only. The real dichotomy between the Koreas is a liberal democracy and market economy vs a totalitarian state and command economy.
