The only requirement to AA is a desire to stop using, youâre free to attend meetings, share, and talk with others without getting a sponsor and working any steps

People are going to strongly recommend you get a sponsor and work the steps, because they achieved long term sobriety that way, but you can just go to meetings and do literally everything else if you want
also accepting that you are not the center of the universe and some things are way more powerful and bigger than you is not the same thing as admitting they control or influence your life
Well you literally do have access to the rest of the program, youâre just not going to be able to work the steps because you canât get past step one
