remember when yns tried to flex his like ratio and revealed he only liked 300 posts over his like career. sad but ban has to make up for yns lack of love

It always blows my mind when I watch something and thoroughly enjoy it but then read horrible reviews about it later

The witcher and the newest cloverfield movie yielded these experiences for me.

I am really enjoying this season of the witcher

it had a couple of decent scenes but for the most part i was disappointed. first season wasn't very good for me either. but im used to the much more grounded interactions in the game

Show me art from your days studying art

feels like the show tries to move to fast

Never played the game or read the books

I just really enjoy the monster design and the sets and costumes are really good, as is the lighting

yea that is definitely one of the strong points of the show

Also ciri is attractive and I enjoy her accent

isn't she like 15

Not in real life

ciri's scenes are the worst part of the show for me by far. she seems to be being encouraged to overact and the constant fast cuts of her screaming really grated on me

i think the other main problem that games have in being translated to netflix is how fast they move around the world. they're just teleporting from cintra to kaer morhen and back again with nothing meaningful happening in between. in game you have plenty of time to build characters, dialogue, plots, hunt monsters in between just advancing the plot. but it's netflix so super 'important dank plot events' have to happen every episode

I also enjoyed fringe a while ago which had every episode with its own self contained storyline

I think it was even referred to as a "monster of the week" show

polish media described it as "it's a paradise for new fans, but hell for the true fans" which is probably mostly true

I enjoyed the start of season 1 but the second half was pretty forgettable. On ep4 of s2 and haven't lost interest yet definitely

also they killed eskel and he was my favorite witcher no cap
