well yea they just trashed his character for some reason and used his name as a pitifully weak reference to source material
they've strayed a lot from source material in the 2nd season which makes sense because the writing it's based on has a lot less action in it than the first season's material but some of the decisions seem to be made just to piss people off. also they seem to want yenn's dialogue this season to be unlistenable trash

tbf it would be nigh impossible to make a good (for me) adaption without having like 10 seasons in the chamber so i understand why things are sped up. just what they focus on is bizarre and focused almost solely on drawing a new audience

probably not watching a 3rd season except maybe the fight choreography and monster design
I thought the first season of Witcher was very unique and that made up for most of it's flaws

Ideally in the future it'd be like anime where there's a short one-off exploring these things but I don't think you can ever fix the inherent issue of games having more content
also you cant fault them for trying to capture a large audience, publicly traded companies will just do that
