If you’re not saying that Timado is surrounded by homophobes (thus making him a product of his environment) then it is not excusable for him to be a homophobe? Averages are useless comparisons for people. There’s nothing to be had comparing average this or that when there are individuals at stake.

I don’t see how they’re useless still. Statistics for demographics are very useful - even if there are “Individuals at Stake” whatever that means… You brought up gay people in iran, where the Average person is Homophobic (I assume), seems like it’s useful to know that average and compare it with other countries to me.

i dont think that update is really a big deal although i dont see a reason for it. i dont advocate for this forum being a safe haven for legitimate hate speech, but that’s pretty harmless. not sure why it had to be edited.
