Does the state have any rights in regards to where people should be able to live? Can they restrict sex offenders from living near schools? Should prisoners be housed where they desire?
How does one view the "invasion" of Ukraine through this geographical determinism? If one must accept the free flow of people unfettered, I don't see a philosophical argument for any restrictions on trade either.

if you want to go to a clinic you have to get there 45 minutes BEFORE they open at 8am and line up, then they'll tell you to come back like 6 hours later
the ER is even worse
im totally fine with bringing in more teachers and doctors, but we just can't take care of super at risk needy humanitarian type cases, we literally do not have the money, the food, the space, the infrastructure, it's just stupid

Canada is not really big, it's a bunch of spread out medium sized cities with huge areas of forest and single lane/double lane highways connecting them
there are literally only so many places to live, and we can't build them nearly as fast as we keep bringing in people.
Are National Parks, wilderness refuges, etc. legitimate under geographical determinism? Fire codes for buildings that require occupancy less than a certain number? Can a stage only truly support so many people before it collapses?

The more accurate question here is does the government have moral standing to prevent people from standing on a stage that will collapse under their weight? If the government asks more people to stand on that stage and it collapses, is that right or wrong?
