I challenge you.
@KrazyKat This is insane
I was really enjoying this game and wanted to play it out, it had some cool tactics. Apparently they lost the active game in a server reboot and don't keep the games stored/have some way to reconstruct it (which is ridiculous, this is the easiest thing in the world to store and reconstruct. It's a correspondence game, it can last months, it needs to be resilient to server reboots)
I went back and forth with this AI support, essentially saying it's crazy that they can lose a game like this and not have the moves logged somewhere for us to reconstruct it. The AI sucks, it would only respond to the most recent thing I said (eg. if I say I want to reconstruct this game with Analysis Board, it will give me general instructions for Analysis Board without taking the chat history as context)
Then at the end when I click "Contact a Human," it auto-picks up my old email from like 15 years ago when I made this Chess.com account, which doesn't even exist any more (the email provider doesn't exist now). And auto-closes the chat.
I believe this was our board position. Agreed?
I honestly would prefer to reconstruct the whole game from memory but don't know that my memory will be 100% accurate. I could try.
You didn't take a screenshot at any point with the little panel that shows history of moves open, did you?
Anyway this is bad enough that it makes me want to never use Chess.com again and maybe even host my own chess website
That looks right. Didn't get a screenshot.
You had that game wrapped up though.
I didn't have a chance at that point.
Ull stomp me it's been be years
They must have restored it because I complained
It was not there most of the day
Anyway - we play on
You should really get into Cardstone, check out the Zoo Mirror Thread.
Freeze mage mirrors are like a better version of Chess.
I genuinely believe there is more RNG in Chess than in Hearthstone.
Fight the power!
I am toast this game.
I'm crafting a beautiful finish.
GG. I resign. Evil mate.
I plugged it into an engine and it said I still had a chance.
But only if every move was perfect.
Play a game of 960 now?
Yes I just kicked off the 960 game
Honestly I did not know how to start
For the last game: I went thru it with the AI analysis lady, she does not like my pawn moves in the start very much. But the crucial moment was when you didn't make space to retreat the bishop. From there it was pretty straightforward, you were just down a piece for the rest of the game
Yeah I miscalculated and thought I could win a piece back.
And I missed a free pawn after that.
960 is started if you want to play
It is going to be a strange one
