GM Naroditsky is dead by suicide or drugs (depending who you believe)

Funny how the guys trying to ascertain someone’s death 20 mins after they die is louder than the crowd of people saying “respect family wait for autopsy”

If he died from Benadryl or something I don’t really care it’s clearly tragic and crazy for a 29yo gm to die in the first place

Kramnik had been basically harassing him/accusing him of cheating for a while and apparently it was affecting him

And there was some stream a day or two ago where he was unwell, either manic or on drugs

Kramnik comments were pretty disgusting, accusing him of being on drugs after his death and accusing friends of covering up evidence rather than helping him to get healthy

But too early to pass judgment because if that is the actual truth of the situation then Kramnik was just saying what actually happened

Untimdd game, no cheating but if you do then have fun because I'm not that good anyway

Idk even so it’s still weird, social diffusion of responsibility is a thing, people being troubled and needing help and being hard to help is a thing, and it just feels like back when people would comment just to get their Reddit karma up. It doesn’t matter that there is fans of his mourning his loss, it’s not as intriguing to others (and you (not that it’s your fault or you’re really flawed for it) as speculating on his death or other tidbits that others also just learned and know nothing on

Keep in mind we have literally experienced these things here and it’s reflective in the same way. Do people really care about Daniel dying, yes it’s weird he died at 30 but is it just drummed up news for others to consume like media vultures? Yeah kinda does feel that way, especially when he died earlier yesterday but is seemingly today’s news because Why did he die. It’s all a deflection from Damn, he died. He was sick and cool and people should take one collective last chance to appreciate him because it ain’t happening to any same degree ever again

I think it's always a shock when someone dies and the first question is always going to be why

Anything bad that happens people always want to know why - whether that's to make sense of the world in a healthy way or some coping mechanism, idk, but I have never really believed in the whole "guys be respectful don't talk about the reason"

I do agree it shouldn't be turned into a spectacle and I think Kramnik's comments are over the line especially given that he was the one that kicked off a big harassment campaign against the guy

It's the IRL equivalent of getting someone mislynched and then saying "Well that guy was a total idiot, glad we voted him out"

Nobody would ever do this. This would never happen every game.

I do it personally because it's hilarious but I wouldn't do it to somebody who died IRL

Friend request accepted.
I was wondering who that was.

He died from Duicide or Srugs

Basically not intentional but also kinda intentional, don't wanna die but don't wanna live either.

It's definitely a natural reaction to want to know the cause of someone's death esp when they're so young , and the lack of info about it makes it very obvious that it wasn't an accident or natural causes therefore it only leaves you with an obvious answer on the multiple choice.

It's possible all of the accusations are correct as well, maybe he was cheating, maybe but it doesn't matter he's gonna be forgotten in about a month and everyone is going to move on and stop talking about him, of course besides his own family and close friends. I feel bad for them.

There's no way he was cheating. He was just damn good at blitz and bullet chess.
Here a short clip of Hans Niemann freaking out at his skill.

Lol that was hilarious but I think it had more to do with a blunder on Hans part to promote to queen instead of rook but the setup was next level that is some crazy vision to see the potential stalemate, it's interesting how the meta for bullet is so degenerate at high level like doing purposeful blunders because you anticipate your opponent to premove

Idk I don’t think I’m good at all but I had seen enough enough of Daniel’s YouTube and other stuff to know he was clearly well rounded. Hard to say that I’m not falling for the charisma meme tho when I feel like Hans Neimann is so worm like in particular and way more probable of a cheater

True. Also keep on mind that Hans only had 10 seconds on the clock.
