if people are taking proper precautions like masks + distancing + trying to stay home as much as possible we can certainly wait out for a vaccine however the big beach in my state was packed this weekend and pics posted showing now one wearing a mask is just gross as fuck

Virus has been shown to die very quickly outside. The majority of infections seem to occur inside at places like meat facilities where the air is cooler and continuously circulated. If you're outside and passing by some dude, as long as he doesn't directly cough into your face, your chance of being infected is miniscule

also apparently 68% of infections are from asymptomatic people so i think a rapid spit test would be very very good.

rutgers developed a spit test that is equally as accurate as the nasal swab, if not more accurate. and it just requires spit(ppl far more likely to spit in a vial than to be stabbed in their nasal cavity)

Especially for places like Brazil and Wuhan where they do not cool their meat facilities, they just have them in the open air so it is healthier
