yep if both of those are possible they should definitely be implemented. personally idk if ill like 50 posts in a day but theres really no point in having a limit in my eyes. and the 10 second delay on chatting is really obnoxious especially wheN PMing
Yeah unfortunately I forgot that pms are basically posts in a secret topic according to discourse, and I want to enable quick messages so I’ll probably tune it down. I just want to know that people won’t spam more with it. I guess it’s not so bad to enable post engagement in a thread either as long as people aren’t trying to get the rate set higher for others by making an obnoxious amoint of posts
Feel free to flag posts of people who do that, by the way.
Not a big fan of these tags. Very unnecessary imo.
Is it just me or do these just look very ugly? They just make the latest page look way too cluttered.
yeah, i dont like that theyre designated colors that are all the same but i did part of this to make thread archiving way easier. i wanna find a solution to clean up topic rendering but i think youre one of a minority who looks at it over categories.
also i figured this solution would work well for a guy like you who doesnt want to see certain types of posts. people can use the tag “drugs” and you can filter against that
quickly wrote some css to hide it on viewing topic lists. latest looks like it did before now, and tags can still be used.
I don’t want to filter any posts, I read every post on the forum.
I use https://namafia.com/latest - but you can argue that it looks worse on https://namafia.com/c/general because there’s so much text, aesthetics don’t really matter anyway I just think that it’s a waste of your time and effort to go and put them on every thread.
Archiving threads is not an issue and nobody really wants to filter any threads, it’s not like there’s hundreds of drug threads. If it’s not broken don’t fix it.
There’s simply way too few threads for tags to have any use. Those things are for reddit-sized sites, and even on reddit they’re not used by 90% of the users if I had to guess.
lol, youre right. just trying to warm up people to the idea of them. i cant afford to spend more time manually dropping them. i atleast wanted them on the content thing and tried plopping a few on some other already-created threads because one annoyance is that you can’t tag after you post as non-staff.
as more threads fill up general it’ll come in handy. just kinda useless fn yes
looks like everyones pretty content with the light styling. im gonna work on porting it all to dark now.
Threads usually die pretty fast idk.
It’s no problem - but I just don’t think anyone will ever care lol. No offense
I dont think we can say that for sure now
Site is pretty nice on mobile tbqh

I think making likes unlimited so people spam them for no reason makes them mean less and they should mean less
It means If you behave like a pos you dont get likes. Everyone else gets likes
Can you not like my posts anymore? I don’t like the notifications it gives me.
Sure
