My heart rate is getting better and better. Back down to 59 resting and only crossing 140 threshold after about a mile of jogging

The long run I did last week murdered my system so I've been taking it casually. Feeling better lately so probably will start trying to aim for 30 minutes @170 again soon but I don't want to overload myself

usually the thing that holds people back from taking on larger volumes of training when coming off the couch is how weak their legs are

i've never had to stop jogging because my legs were tired. its always just being winded

my back starts hurting after like mile 3 a lot of the times though. i've been doing hamstring stretches and core work, as well as foam rolling my t-spine. i had gamer posture for 10 years

when i get particularly winded or am not fully recovered before a run i get a strange stinging pain in my neck as well
