does nmaGane actually care about winning mafia games? no
what does nmaGane actually care about doing? causing havoc, discourse, and malcontent.

so you have wintermute here, who enjoys the same thing, but from a different perspective where he can judge, high horse, or whatever, and heā€™ll redirect the argument to be around something that is specifically isnā€™t done (because that would endanger the real goal) in order for it to continue.

there is no ā€œcheatingā€ in true respect of the words ā€œcheatingā€ in the teamspeak.

steam chats are an entirely different story.

Sounds about right, the only time theyā€™re probably close to cheating is when they sign a game together. Im sure past purposely having matching reads to grief certain players they talk atleast a bit (after griefing targets are taken care of) about who is scum to help them put eachother in a position where they can say they played well or whatever. Otherwise its just Nmagane griefing people who donā€™t like him, or if its a Benny hosted game, its Nmagane trolling in a setup where he was ā€œrandedā€ a role that somehow seems like the best position to grief from

The key word when it comes to griefing is ā€œdeliberateā€. Did I deliberately lose the game? Of course not, was just emotionally tilted from purposely being the last one alive by 2 griefers and took my best (wrong) guess.

If you are not one of those members and want to play in both that is your prerogative. I am also using these games as a poc for the bot.

I donā€™t think it was directly related to the game and I would like to know what Rorawong thinks of his Mafia playā€¦just cuz I thought he was a bad player trying to get better and I think thatā€™s arguably way more passable than the shit Benny and nmagane have been doing.

Also, unrelated but jdance was a really great host. Punctual, prompt couldā€™ve counted more lynches but otherwise did a good job. 20x better than Benny.

Oh ill gyess that roragok is mad that jdance was spamming the bot and trying to fuck with it. That was rude and unnecessary but prolly not problematic beyond that.

Id say that maybe we need a rule where you cant just be purposely trying to fuck with the bot or other Dev things. The way the bot works now it basically has to be developed on the actual site and not Dev, and people should be respectful of that by not abusing a broken part once its already been brought to the attention of roragok/others. Idk what goes on in jdances head but its not a matter of the broken part going unacknowledged its a matter of one guy doing this for fun and you forcing him to patch a hole ASAP when there was no urgency until you made it urgent.

Not to mention that fucking with the bot is prolly akin to spamming in the context of a Mafia game

I believe the definition of griefing in mafia is to deliberately play against your win-con and has to be looked upon in a case-to-case basis, similarly to how deliberately feeding is ban-able in DotA, while feeding is not. Claiming scum in an open game like Nma did while naming both his partners is very clearly intentionally griefing (Iā€™d say he did it in an even more grotesque manner than Yns did, who got banned for 3 games), while regular bussing is of course more than fine.

Itā€™s also worth noting that both games Benny hosted, Me, Nma and Epok was teammates (the other game having Friend as the last scum), and both games Nma called out all his teammates (he did it more subtly in the other game, not spouting it repeatedly, but it was still very easy to distinguish the post from the rest, as it was the only post that didnā€™t seem ironic), which makes it obvious that Benny is hosting to rig the teams, intentionally made so Nma can grief epok and myself (he already targets us every game, regardless of circumstance).
