I don't have to present other studies to "support my side" the burden of proof is on him and I'm well within my rights to say "that proof is inconclusive and unconvincing".

Anyway let's say that IS true, gay men are more sexually active, what's your pivot from that? What does THAT statement enable you to believe? That gay men are pedophile groomers? That they should have their civil liberties restricted? Where does that tidbit of information take you?
Yes, you can make studies that ask people questions like "Do you think the city should spend $50m on a new bridge?" and you'll get fairly accurate answers. If you ask people questions about their sexuality, the answers they give you are highly unreliable. Of all the types of data you can gather, it's just not that valuable.

If I lived my entire life knowing a good chunk of people hated me, wanted me to die, or at the very least believed I should not be able to get married, adopt children, what have you, I'd probably be a doomer who wanted to rave until I die too. There are SO many sociological factors you can take into account, if that information is true, which I'm not saying it is.
