i know the army and marines still don't let women into combat units because inevitably people start fucking and shit just hits the fan. segregated units could be fine if you really needed the (wo)manpower as long as they can still carry their gear and firemans carry someone off the field

on a general level men seem to have an easier time separating 'professional' from 'personal' and also just pushing stress and feelings to the back of their mind. still comes back and shits on you later when you give yourself time. women seem to take stress more in the moment which can be tough if the stress could get you or your comrades killed
probably backed up by data on women 'attempting' suicide more but men killing themselves at a 3:1 ratio
