On one hand I've thought public servants working for government shouldn't need any sort of collective bargaining, but then looking at how teachers in Oklahoma and other backwards states are treated it seems problematic to ask people to put themselves in harm's way without them.
But then again our military functions well without them just fine so maybe they should go.
Whatever the case all these police departments need to get their collective shit together and figure out a way to stop hiring psychopaths with a penchant for schadenfreude.
