Trump vs Harris debate September 10

I don't enjoy defending this country, but they're in the right regarding oct7th, and this war is not a genocide. killing 25,000 people in a year out of 3 million, when you're not fighting a military but an insurgency that wears civilian clothing? who took hostages and 1 year later refuse to return them despite the situation being beyond hopeless? who have been PROVEN to have fired rockets out of hospitals and schools?

nah, not much sympathy from me dawg

my anti-islamist views are probably my most right wing position. i genuinely think it's fundamentally different from other religions in a bad, bad way.

yes it is and I don't want Arabs in western countries, however asking them to not live in the Middle East is a step too far even for me

i'll read this later im too tired to really argue about anything

but i dont think noam chomsky himself could change my mind on the palestine issue

a tiny little sliver of the middle east? bro Arabs,Muslims have the entire middle east, literally every country is muslim majority except one tiny little place, that exists for legit reasons. the fact they can't cope with that is because of schizo psychotic religious reasons, not because Israel are such horrible neighbours.

the 1967 war was literally started because the super populist leader of Egypt at the time, Nasser, was bragging about how he was going to create a united arab state with Jerusalem as the capital. The idea was so popular cities all over the region were like having parades and going nuts.

Then they had the war, for what I see as completely unjust reasons, got the SHIT kicked out of them, and have played the victim literally ever since.

that's how I see it.

you can agree with Israel on the Palestinian issue as long as you actually understand Israel's perspective on the Palestinian issue which is the removal of the majority Arab population and replacing it with a jewish population. They allow a minority Arab population to live in Israel but are acutely aware and have a strong desire to have a large majority jewish population. They actively destroy homes of Arabs and move in jews into former Arab populated areas and have been for years.

Israel wouldn't be the way they are today if not for this very relevant history, and there's so much more

All the way back to the 20s when perfectly lovely nice people were buying homes, opening up businesses etc. then just getting attacked in pogroms.

I get it.

they genuinely think they have no other choice. the Palestinians have spent 80 years showing they cannot peacefully co-exist

a large part of the reason so many of them "lost" their homes was because they temporarily evacuated them to help the coalition army in 67, with the idea that they'd be moving into better Jewish homes.

Then they got sent to the desert after instead of being just killed outright as traitors, and they havent' stopped crying about it since.

bro they literally go and bulldoze homes in the West Bank

wait until you look into becoming an Israeli citizen as a non jew

or how about these guys who own 13% of the land in Israel.

The JNF stipulates that only Jews can buy, mortgage or lease JNF land.

i'm not saying they don't do genuinely fucked up stuff, I just think it comes from a place of real fear, not just evil racist hatred. they live next to Hamas and Hezbollah, both who want to kill them. like genuinely have drawn up battle plans to kill every last one of them. the Hamas charter calls for the death of ever Jew on earth.... 54% of Gazans voted for this.

what they do it the west bank is far less defensible than what they've been doing in Gaza imo

they're removing the native Arab population and replacing it with jews, its like basically a genocide? might be a harsh word but I don't know how else to describe it

people say that referring to the war in Gaza though

a genocide that effects hundreds of people... I guess?

no people say it because of the pattern of behavior of the Israeli government towards Palestinians, not just the recent war

idk bro im just tryna wind down for the night

i could talk about this forever
