It's also kind of odd to hear Thiel, a billionaire who I vaguely remember having some rumors about sex with young boys, speculate about the motivations of billionaires who got involved with Epstein to have sex with underage people. I wonder how much we can trust him wanting to shift the motives away from sex. Joe is clearly a knucklehead who can't think about anything other than sex but I find Thiel's view of the world and motivations of old ultra-rich boomers a lot more realistic.
