Damn this shit really going to $1000
This is signature worthy
Damn fuck I got too many signatures it cuts off
Next time I go to dinner with some people I don’t really know I’m gonna just open up the convo with “fundamentally what’s wrong with genocide”
One time I got dragged to a dinner with a bunch of people I didn’t really know and I just spent half the dinner talking about Luigi mangione and how murder isn’t bad in some situations that was a real hitter
Again, you're just putting words in my mouth like bigmatt, I'm not a proponent of genocide like who the fuck takes that position besides some teenage edge lord, I'm not a proponent for ant colonies murdering each other either but that's nature running course. Nobody may like what's happening anymore than you like to see an animal being eaten alive but it's just an inevitable occurrence because there is no workable solution when one side is totally incompatible with the others way of life and their existence is viewed as an offense... when there is a fight for survival. There are winners and losers.
Alright bro saying they have irreconcilable differences and the situation will likely only be solved through war is different than cracking open the conversation with “fundamentally what is wrong with genocide”
Yea I'm just gonna leave this one alone. I asked an honest question because again humans are abundant.
Other questions like should the state provide medical care for a sick old person who is not going to be working anymore even if the care costs 1000x the price for helping a healthy adult or child? People will give a resounding yes and say you're a dumbass monster for wanting to kill sick old people but I'm like you fucking think being bed ridden and having someone spoon feed you and clean your shit until you die is a life that's worth living let alone funding for a person to live? Uhh whatever. And kkat I am not proposing anarchy anymore than what the Americans did to Indians in order to achieve a state of peace and stability is considered anarchy.
I think it is realistic. Middle East regime change is America and it's allies' favorite hobby.
Boooooooo
Go do some 200 level philosophy reading before u start self fellating
Is the book arguing that the Japanese needed to get shook by an atomic bomb to reset their culture?
Contrary to popular belief you can
I haven’t seen a plasma post in seasons
Ive been tossing “shoot the unidentified ice agent before they can spirit you away” type comments into conversations lately it’s been a riot
Yea they shoot back though
No it's a book by a well-known japanese novelist who also lived in the culture of the time
The main topic is autobiographical - him deciding to leave behind the world of words, academics, that he had devoted his life to, and instead to live what he viewed as a more authentic life among sun and steel
it's basically like "i was a mega nerd but now ima start lifting weights and go outside" and a lot of people on the internet found that compelling
but that wasn't the part I found interesting, the part I found interesting were the sections expounding on his views on ritual death and suicide, the desire to die "a good death," and various other signs of a completely militarized imperial society
after the US removed the emperor and generals/destroyed the military-focused society (which, point was, it had actually permeated all society to the point where civilians could discuss and agree with stuff like the rape of nanjing), the author of this book led a violent (and doomed) coup to restore the imperial ruler to the throne, failed, and committed seppuku with his co-conspirators
It's an extremely interesting look into a culture that I simply wouldn't conceive of when bloviating on genocide and what is right and wrong on the internet
I’m down for that but no crying when they shoot back and people get blasted with 50 rds of 556. No crying about how “he shouldn’t have been getting deported anyways!! They shouldn’t have even came now he’s dead!!”
I think this was pretty stoppable if anti-Israel sentiment was more widespread. If your point is just that this is inevitable when all these interests and shit come together then sure I don't think anyone would disagree.
