I have purchased two xm4 sony whatever the fuck headphones and they both have broken in less than a year. Useless product.
The first pair I got was the xm3s and they fit awful over my big_ass ears and broke right after the warranty expired
Electronically broke. One cup started emitting a high pitch whine whenever ANC was on.
I'm glad we can come together as a community and discuss our autism accessibility devices like this
My first refused to charge. My second somehow just goes in and out audio wise every 2 seconds
Took me three reads to realize that earbuds is being used as a euphemism.
I didn't mind the earbuds back in 2018 but they've just gotten terrible with time. I've been contacting customer support to try and get them replaced but they're just replying with these catty passive aggressive emails and accusing me of engaging with the company in 'bad faith'.
There's no way you live in a house with that kind of carpet, you must be in a building like a library or office or something, no normal human being puts that kinda carpet in their house .
I have never once claimed to live in a house.
All the time. You’re also a Californian and I would be taking public transportation or sitting in an uber. Theoretically even then you’d could still want to use them at the store or wherever else you’re erranding
Sidebar but iPhones are nice cuz they track your steps before you ever open the health app and it’s a great way to shame yourself into moving more if you’re sedentary without needing some extra bullshit device. And you’d use them on walks
TBH I am too paranoid to ever carry or wear around my headphones in public because I do not want to have someone sneak up on me and assault me or push me onto the road or something. The chance is very small, but never 0 and while I don't mind the idea of dying, dying like that is not something I would want. I know it's a ridiculous reason, but that's legit why I never listen to music when I am outside or like at a cafe or something and just listen to the cafe music instead HAHAHA
As a white passing who has been in a lot of funny places here I kinda understand and it’s why I exercise caution and do stuff like use a hood in the winter, never dress fancy. Wired earbuds if I really have to sell it.
Even in the subway sometimes the train is coming and I’ll stand over the line because I have little self regard or patience but I’ll always exercise some semblance of spatial awareness. I’m too much of a multiplayer game enjoyer to not do that
It feels like a supermarket or other store or location where your back is safely against something should generally never have that shit happening or be a concern. You feeling that might also be upbringing related
The worst thing I've ever had happen with them in is people yell at you for the time because I assume they've inferred I have a phone that's charged and easily accessible
i only figured out how to toggle ANC remotely just yesterday and was previously having ironstove-esque conniptions in my head when people popped into my spatial radar
im sorry but if you buy a current year $1000 smart phone ima think about you differently
get one that's a few years old like a normal person
If iPhone tho you kinda got to go airpods cause apple is apple
Otherwise just get a pair of tozos off Amazon for 25-45 usd
