world war 3 thread

You're not supposed to get angry everytime someone calls you an idiot on the internet, only sometimes

dawg Russia was horrible after the collapse of the Soviet Union and Putin was a big part of providing stability back to Russia

country isnā€™t doing great but no country in Eastern Europe is doing great either

Talking about sex and sexy things. It's what you do after having sex for the first time, or the first time in a decade. You basically lose all perspective and have a testosterone spike for the first time in years, leading to unbearable posting and an insane ego

oh I wouldn't know I never had sex nor will I

we stan moldova on namafia

idk how you can say he brought stability to the region when they invaded Georgia in 2008 and Ukraine in 2014

and yes he happened to be the leader when their economy recovered but I donā€™t know why he gets credit for that

what actual policies did he enact that benefitted their economy?

a bounce back from the horrible 90s era was always going to happen I think

Bro like come on

idk bro why do we give any world leaders any credit just because theyā€™re leading during complex times

I think their economy could have recovered much better than it did if he wasnā€™t protecting the oligarchs who were robbing the country blind

welcome to Eastern Europe

Eastern Europe isn't comparable to western nations dude. They're fundamentally different. In like every aspect

we give them credit if they make tangible policy decisions that have a clear benefit, no?

for example FDR and the new deal

fwiw I also don't have a positive view of Putins impact on Russia in terms of contributing to future prosperity in any sense

but also fwiw none of our opinions about this stuff matter in any sense rly

yea I know that, Iā€™m still not seeing anything to say why Putin has ever been a good leader

Idk take it up with Russians plenty of Russians donā€™t like him and thereā€™s also plenty of Russians that love him

Heā€™s a strong leader that came into power when the country was a mafia run state getting stripped and sold away to foreign nationals and the quality of life improved significantly for people when he was in power compared to the 8 years previous

having things improve beyond the chaos of Yeltsin doesnā€™t mean he was a good leader though, things were always going to improve

and the country still is and has been a mafia state this whole time

when you say ā€˜strong leaderā€™ all I can think of is their terrible handling of terrorists crises like the Moscow theatre
