Yeah, but it's understandable from your POV. The pandemic has helped encourage WFH but the transition and fight for it was not easy. Daycare is absurdly expensive. Wages are low enough that these parents aren't just absent, they're very absent, and they make up a good brunt of our work force. Those with few resources had few options to occupy their kids.
