Its free with buffs, we did it 2-3 weeks ago with no buffs so they arent required.
we've been doing ouro first which knocks off some of our buffs, but were gonna start just running to c'thun to get it with buffs up.
tho were pretty close to <2hr clear times as is. we just had a lot of mages not drop ignite on twin emps and die for it which slowed everything down.

We let the mages get threat with ignite at max range so they get every sand blast then they turn 180 and blink out so no one gets hit. Sometimes he doesn't even submerge.
ye we did that, we were transitioning into just having 3 tanks swap cuz it felt more reliable (sometimes mages would blink too early and mt would get sandblasted)
but last week was def a transition period.
Kind of. In practice, the length of execute phase with bad dps doesn't increase proportionally to how long the whole fight increases
maybe what they should do is get the boss to 20% and then have only one warrior spam execute and rotate which one gets to do it each week for maximum parsage.
Yeah, but then you change what % of executes will be full rage. You basically want execute phase to be as short as possible and pray to RNG if you want to hit a top parse

yes rng is a factor, but so is the ratio of non execute time to execute time. if your execute phase is only one execute long but your non execute phase is super long your parse will be ass
Yeah, but those two times are correlated. If your execute phase is super short, your dps is high enough that your non-exe phase is super short. I only raided fury in speedrunning a couple times, but that's what I noticed when I healed in a speedrun guild
rigth im suggesting dpsing to have a super short non execute phase and then backing the fuck off and only having the furry warriors dps during the execute phase to get a better ratio and cheese a parse.
Yeah but that ratio is always gonna be way below a super short exe where you get like 1 or 2 full rage crits. Like, for a top parse, a long exe phase will never match up to a good RNG short one
yea that makes sense, but the average parse of doing this strat over and over will be higher than the average parse of getting 1/2 executes a boss and praying to rnjesus
something in lock parsing thats kinda memey is going for a top 100 parse vs just a 99 is totally different cuz you ignore hit and go high spell power and just hope you dont miss.
