If that is true, then its probably more likely for there to be an easier explanation for our existence. (Parallel universes, simulation, etc)

like honestly dude i'm sorry but there's a reason religions instill their beliefs in children (who are proven to believe literally anything) and that people who aren't raised on fairy tales end up not accepting them or believe them as adults as they can clearly see all the massive gaping holes and flaws

religion served a very important purpose for a long long time, but as nietzche said, god is dead. he has been for some time. we've gone past the point where people can reasonably be expected to believe in religion when presented with so much evidence to the contrary. the fact that science keeps having W after W after W and being vindicated for the last 400 years straight (with a massively accelerated pace lately)
