Nope. They just think "oh so that's how English speakers say it." and usually they are curious about how the karaoke ended up that way. Karate is intuitive but karaoke has more to it.
But not cringe. Those that cringe are snobby weirdos that only exist in the anglosphere.
There is nothing wrong with pronouncing something any way you want really, but ridicule or cringe for people pronouncing loan words in a conventional English way while they speak English is absurd.

Sure there is probably someone. But it is not the usual attitude like it has become in the anglosphere.
And thinking it is funny or humorous is a very different thing. Of course people do that. But this notion that the source language is "correct" and the new language is "wrong" is a common attitude in the anglosphere and that is absurd.
If you want to laugh at pronunciation, I highly recommend finding a posh british person speak Japanese with their foreign accent. It is incredible.

I think the pronunciation in the source language is the same as euro but I first saw it on a sign and it's been jiro to me ever since.
