I must've missed Osiris's pressure on Ian. Mobile is fucking up pretty bad: could you quote some relevant posts for me?
I agree on sdad: I've got some sus of him. He is doing what I'd call "semi-afk": throw a few posts out without adding substance, just agreeing/disagreeing without much explanation. He called out semi-afk at the start, though he may mean something different with that term.
Nah, I don't think that's a probability. I'm pointing out it's a possibility
afaik his reads havent changed since. ewiz/wolfy tvt is fair enough imo if he believes the reaction.
Right now, my only townlean is @hbotz. He's got solid reasoning, even on Ian where we disagree. @iaafr is a townlean from his opening, but I can't actually say anything about him until I get his responses on all that's happened since I pressured wolfy.
@wolfy is null for me, because of my new scumlean on @ian. If the lean on Ian becomes stronger, I'd probably townlean wolfy.
I'm not sure that this is actually a scumread/lean on Ian. It seems to be an attempt to apply pressure on Ian for a relatively weak opening (like I did to wolfy) joking about someone not being in the game. Ian never really reacted to it, so it wasn't that effective.
I've kind of started flip-flopping on Ewiz. The guy just seems way too reasonable and clean.
Right? I completely agree everything he says is very reasonable. Damn. So reasonable u could say its scummy!
I have more than double your posts, granted, your last posts have some substance to make up for your earlier inactivity. Still, when there's real posts being posted I don't think it's weird to let people post unhindered.
Not sure if you're being ironic but ewiz used to be a way more emotional and obsessive player
You have to play in this kind of way when you're playing with new people so you can't read them based on playstyle. For all intents and purposes, this is a new group. On the old site (not sure about this one), new players were always scumread for this, then getting angry when they got sussed for it. I don't have metareads on most people anymore (save iaafr, his town style is very memorable), and I want to move away from metareads in general: it's how you get better as a player
Acknowledged this up above:
I'm trying to be a better person, which translates to a better player. My old playstyle was very much an old @anon82208883 playstyle: be shitty and disruptive as both scum and town because it's easy to get angry as either. Then no one can tell your scum and town game apart.
Cactus used to point this out about Kyle and complain all the time about how it ruins games, because it becomes a race to the bottom to be shitty and give you a higher mafia winrate. The chaos it causes is good for scum, and for a while so many of us did it that scum had a crazy high winrate (though some of that could have been from a lot of afking)
Actually, iaafr is a good example of this too. Plays a style that's very easy to replicate as both town and scum
how 2 win mafia:
- have perfect reads
- claim mafia immediately if and only if you are mafia
oops i didnt mean that ^ to be a reply to you. anyway i said u were coasting because u havent said anything controversial enough / instigated conflict to read alignment from. i dont necessarily scumread you for that since ewiz is stealing the show
I get wanting to watch discussions play out. The wolfy and Ian stuff has developed pretty significantly. How do you read those two now, and why? What about me and how I flipped away from tunnelling wolfy to focusing Ian?
Actually, @ian, @wolfy, @magicmagininja, @Osiris, and @hbotz, what do you think of me switching my tunnel off of wolfy into a null/slight townlean on him and a harder scumread on Ian?
then you interpret wrong
yes ok lets suppose that all fos on you is fallacious and has no basis. of course even if that were true it is not affirmative evidence that you are town.
then which fos on you is genuine mistake and which fos on you is fabricated scumpush? some people were also townreading you, do you believe that you should be townread?
All for it
Ur only tunneling towns and I'm gonna keep voting u
