I played the game a bit after the recent character additions
I am pretty good (probably the best here if yns doesn’t play any more) and disavow a lot of my earlier opinions
I still feel it’s not actually “fun” - it’s compulsive
The problem with deadlock is the core gameplay loop isn’t fun. Valve knows how to make well-made games but doesn’t know how to make fun games any more.

There’s a few specific kinds of players who seemingly are immune. I don’t feel like I’m one of them and it sucks
It definitely could use One alternate mode similar to ARAM or atleast one with reduced map scope and something that gets players to play different stuff. For newer and practiced players that feel understandably overwhelmed and want to learn more. Or people who have friends that would play that mode and get me into it
